Nik's Star Trek Party was a Success! THANK YOU!!

WIL WHEATON PLEASE TWEET!!

So the party was AWESOME!!! Nik and his friends had a GREAT time!! He was awestruck by the awesomeness of BRENT SPINER, CONNOR TRINNEER & WHITNEY AVALON who all sent personalized autographed pictures!!

His family gathered 'round as he hit a milestone in his church and we all met for lunch.... then an incident happened with a family member, for reasons unknown, who took her frustrations out on a couple of grandkids, one of whom was Nik! :(

He's ready to destroy everything and is freaking out!! Two months of working towards this day is coming to a CRASH & BURN!!!

Please help me save this day by helping me get more HAPPY BIRTHDAY tweets to @nikhatch13!! ESPECIALLY FROM WIL WHEATON!!

Nik's Star Trek Birthday Party

There is only ~~1 DAY~~ TODAY!! left until Nik's Star Trek Birthday Party!! Here is my original blog post with what happened last school year... Nik's Story

But here's the short of it:

Nik has Asperger's Syndrome. If you know anyone with it, you know that 1- They tend to "Super-Focus" on one topic at a time; and 2- They have an "On/Off" switch. Nik wanted to attend this year's Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas (Aug 9-12) but did not earn it due to his grades. He was devastated.

He's starting in a brand new school in 2 weeks. His birthday is in 1 week. I am asking that if you or anyone you know is an actor in ANY of the Star Trek Series; The Big Bang Theory; or Quantum Leap PLEASE help me keep Nik encouraged by sending an autographed photo and/or note of encouragement.

I would also love it if you could tweet him a "Happy Birthday" on Aug 26th to @nikhatch13. (Party is Aug 25th)

He's knows I'm up to something, but I've blocked him from my Twitter account. I can't wait to show him everything I've done! He's such a good kid and I love him so much!! I will do everything within my means to help keep him motivated and on-track! (Sorry Nik, a Captain's Chair is not within my means! :) )

THE PARTY!!

Star Date 08-25-2012 Captain Nik Hatch of the NCC 0826 USS Starship Super Nerd will be having his STAR TREK SPECTACULAR!! From 1800 to 2100 hours, we will be transforming the Holodeck into a typical human household and will fire up the replicator to produce substance for the hungry masses. Should prior assignments to other outposts conflict with the time listed, please note that this event is "Open House" style and you are welcome to dock on the Super Nerd at any time.

Uniforms encouraged, but not required.
